WISDOM KEYS ON SUCCESS: BEING A SALARY EARNER VERSUS BEING YOUR OWN BOSS

360life.blogspot.com.ng

It’s amazing how the world is evolving at a jet pace that if you don't keep track you will be left behind and to keep track, you will be definitely left behind and to keep up you have to be financially stable. One interesting thing about this age is that fast development equals sharp decline in economy which only serves as boosts for already rich, smart and wealthy or doom for the poor at hand and mind. So you can remain a salary earner or be your own boss.
Limitations to being a salary earner
1.       You never get paid enough to meet your needs.

2.       Your needs are reliant on when you get paid.

3.       How long you last at your workplace is dependent on how useful you are to the ever changing dynamics of your workplace.

4.       Saving seems to be almost impossible and in some cases you owe more than you earn.

5.       Sometimes you never get paid what you are worth.
In the light of these few limitations, it would seem that being your own boss is the most probable way out.
BEING YOUR OWN BOSS
As cool as being your own boss sounds, it’s not as easy even though it pays much more in the long run. Planting deep roots matter because in the ever changing seasons and times, storms and sun, you will stand strong.

IMPORTANT FACTORS TO BEING YOUR OWN BOSS
1.        ideas
What ideas do you have? Why do you have those ideas? How will those ideas serve other people's needs? The right questions will always direct you to the right answers.
2.        vision
With your ideas, where do you see yourself in the upcoming years? How far will your ideas take you?

3.       Passion and perseverance
No dream will survive without passion and ability to keep at it till you get what you are after. Without these two your ideas and vision will wither away. The reason behind the passion matters too.

4.       Plan
When you have passion, then you plan who to meet, how much it will cost to start, who will be part of your team because where you are going is as important as who is going with you. Also want to do that which brings your ideas to fruition.
5.       Execute
Bringing your ideas to life needs faith. You have believe its possible no matter how it looks, no matter the limitations you might see. Limitations should challenge you to overcome them.

6.       Mentorship
Discover your mentor or mentor as the case may be. There are people that have been where you are going to. You need their wisdom and foresight through physical presence, their books or life stories.
So have an "i can" mentality. Remember you have to personally encourage yourself to push to you see results and growth.
Note that there is nothing wrong in starting small as a salary earner but remaining small shouldn't being an option.
The choice is yours.
